❤️ This past weekend was all about friends, family, and making memories together! ❤️

We kicked off the weekend with T-Shirt Painting, where our campers — both young and, well… not so young 😄 — brought out their creative sides and made some awesome shirts!

Next up was our campground-wide potluck, and while the food was absolutely amazing, the company was even better. There’s just something special about everyone gathering together, sharing a meal, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company.

Saturday evening, we were treated to a wonderful performance by a father-and-son duo at the pavilion. Everyone had a great time singing along, dancing, visiting with friends, and simply enjoying being together. 🎶💃

Sunday started off with a delicious pancake breakfast and wrapped up with an AMAZING turnout for Bingo! Thank you to everyone who came out and joined in the fun.

🎉 A big congratulations to Jim and Janet Storer, the winners of our weekend 50/50 raffle, who took home $161.50!

We truly cannot thank everyone enough for showing up, pitching in, helping where needed, and most importantly, creating such a fun and memorable weekend. ❤️

It’s weekends like this that remind us that a campground is so much more than a place to park an RV — it’s the people who make it a community.

🪵🔨 **Kids’ Woodworking Project with Leroy – September 12th!** 🔨🪵

Leroy will be doing a fun woodworking project with the campground kids on **Saturday, September 12th**!

To make sure there are enough supplies for everyone, **please let Kim know no later than Monday, September 7th if your child(ren) will be participating.**

⚠️ **Advance sign-up is required.** Because materials need to be prepared ahead of time, anyone who is not signed up by the deadline will unfortunately not be able to participate.

Please stop by the office, message us, or let Kim know how many children you are signing up.

📢 Attention, Current Meadville Campground Seasonal Campers!

The 2027 Seasonal RV Space Agreements were sent by email today. Please check your inbox—and your spam or junk folder.

If you did not receive an email, please reach out to Kim. Signed paperwork is due by October 1, 2026, so we can get everyone’s information entered into our system.

We’re looking forward to another great camping season in 2027! 🏕️

🎃👻 **HAUNTED TRAIL UPDATE** 👻🎃

After a lot of discussion and planning, we have made the difficult decision to **cancel the Meadville Campground Haunted Trail for 2026**.

We were really excited about bringing this new event to the campground and opening it up to the community. However, as we started working through everything needed to create the experience we envisioned, we realized that we simply **do not have enough time this year to do it right**.

And if we're going to do a Haunted Trail, we want to **DO IT RIGHT!** 👻🌲

We don't want to throw something together just to make it happen. We want plenty of scares, great decorations, creative scenes, spooky surprises and an experience that's worth coming out for!

So, rather than rushing it this fall, we're going to put this idea back in the cauldron 🧙‍♀️ and give ourselves the time to plan, build and hopefully make it **bigger, better and MUCH scarier in the future!** 🎃😈

We apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the Haunted Trail and appreciate your understanding. ❤️

**Don't worry—there is still plenty of fall and Halloween fun ahead at Meadville Campground!** 🍂🎃

We are officially FULL for 2026 seasonal sites at Meadville Campground!

We are so excited to have every seasonal site filled and truly appreciate everyone who has chosen to make Meadville Campground their camping home.

Looking ahead to 2027, we do have plans to add a handful of new seasonal sites!

As we begin planning for 2027, available sites—including our newly added sites and any existing sites that are not renewed—will first be offered to our current 2026 seasonal campers based on seniority.

**BASKET RAFFLE/CHINESE AUCTION – THIS SATURDAY!**

Don’t forget—our Basket Raffle/Chinese Auction is happening **Saturday, August 29th at 1:00 PM**, and we currently have **15 baskets** up for grabs!

**Tickets:**
$1 = 1 ticket
$5 = 6 tickets
$10 = 15 tickets
$20 = 35 tickets

**Seasonal and Monthly Campers - Can’t make it in person? You can still get in on the fun! Reach out to **Kim** to make arrangements to purchase tickets, tell her which baskets you’d like your tickets placed in and she will make sure they get entered for you!

There’s still time to donate a basket, too! Donations can be dropped off at the Campground Office before the raffle.

🤠🎶 SATURDAY FUN AT MEADVILLE CAMPGROUND! 🎶🤠

Join us on Saturday, August 29, for an afternoon and evening packed with fun!

🎟️ 1:00 p.m. – Chinese Auction/Basket Raffle

Come take your chances on some great baskets and prizes! Tickets will be available for purchase the day of the event and will be cash only.

🎟️ $1 = 1 ticket
🎟️ $5 = 6 tickets
🎟️ $10 = 15 tickets
🎟️ $20 = 35 tickets

💃 5:30–6:30 p.m. – Country Line Dancing

Country line dance instructor Anna Gruber will be here to teach us some moves! No experience is needed—everyone is welcome to join the fun!
