Summer is passing quickly with only a few more weeks before the kids are off to school again. Why not spend some relaxing time on a Florida lake, close to home? The beach at the ocean is a fun place but you have to fight the traffic and crowds. Why not trade that option for some quiet time on a lake that you just might be enjoying ALL BY YOURSELF! The celebrations are slowing down on the lake as the weekend comes to a close. Both the Cottage and Bungalow were filled this year and I hate to see people disappointed. Consider a vacation next year at the Lake over the 4th and take advantage of THIS YEAR'S RATES with a 10% discount on top of that! UPDATE! The Lily Pad is rented from July 3-5! Hurray! But...what about the rest of the month? It is available from June 25-July 1 and July 7-12 and July 17-21 and July 29-31 with the SAME DISCOUNT OFFER! Come on and make your reservation NOW before school starts which doesn't seem that far away!

North central lake country. wrapped in morning fog. Quiet lake roads winding through pine forests and ancient oak trees. Rolling hills. Small towns with local diners, bait shops, antique and thrift stores, and Main Streets where everybody still knows your name. Endless freshwater shorelines, quiet cabins, and sunsets reflecting off the lakes. See the stars without city lights taking over the sky. Spend the weekend fishing, hiking, or sitting beside a quiet lake without passing endless subdivisions, giant warehouses, or another chain development pretending to be “progress.” The silence between places. The feeling that nature and community still mattered. Just more reasons to stay in our Lily Pad Cottage or Sandy Toes Bungalow.
