Fall in Melrose, and it's free to enjoy! 🍂

Right downtown in front of the old fire department building and beside Melrose Music there's a fall photo set with the vintage fire truck, hay bales, pumpkins, a very friendly scarecrow, and a little campfire corner with s'mores sticks and a "To the Lake" sign.

Grew up in this town, and this is exactly why we love sharing it.

THE WITCHES ARE COMING BACK TO LAKE SANTA FE.

One of our absolute favorite Melrose traditions returns Saturday, October 24 — the annual Melrose Witches Paddle.

Hundreds of years ago they would've been concerned about this many witches showing up in one place.
In Melrose, we give them paddleboards. 😂

From 3–5 PM, costumed witches (and plenty of other characters) take to the water from the Trout Street Boat Ramp for an afternoon paddle, followed by the party at the Melrose Center with live music, food, drinks, costume contests and more.

The event raises money for local causes, including the Melrose Makes Christmas toy drive, Melrose Fire Department and Melrose Music scholarship program.

Come experience one of the most uniquely Melrose weekends of the year, then come back to your own place on Lake Santa Fe.

Come for the witches. Stay for the fun.
