Trail to Beaver Pond is gorgeous this time of year. Just be careful taking alternate trail on return. White Memorial needs better markings . But my son and I didn’t mind getting lost — it was absolutely awesome!

Here I am with kids at gigantic Goshen fair, and atop Ferris wheel (the most adventurous ride I can handle). Fair is great for anyone who loves and appreciates authenticity. Wonderful animal exhibits, rides, tractor-pull and log-chopping competitions, country music and lots of food. Open through Monday.
