The Leo House is a nonprofit Catholic guesthouse, hostel and hotel. We are dedicated to offering visitors affordable and temporary accommodations. People of all faiths are welcome and many of our guests come from countries located all over the world. We host a variety of guests from various backgrounds including clergy and religious, persons visiting the sick, students, and travelers from the Unit

For a little history on our establishment, The Leo House was originally established and based in the Battery Park area of New York in 1889 by papal certification by Pope Leo XIII. In 1926,The Leo House moved to 23rd Street in the Chelsea section of Manhattan, one of the liveliest and safest neighborhoods in New York City.

Dear Leo House Guests, there’s an issue with out credit card processing center. This is not only something that is affecting The Leo House customers; but customers of with the processor nationwide. There are multiple inside and outside IT and software security companies, working together to resolve the issue. It may take additional time to process the charge for your initial reservation payment, or with any credit card refunds processed.

There are additional ways to secure payment with both our reservations department and at check-in.

Please know we understand your concerns and frustration with this. It’s also a learning experience for our staff, as we navigate this issue.
