UPDATED POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR RENTALS AND CONTRACT AGREEMENTS
Effective immediately, Luce County Parks and Recreation is implementing updated policies and procedures governing all facility rentals, park usage, and external contract agreements. These changes ensure fair access, streamlined scheduling, and the long-term preservation of our community spaces.
Please review the key updates below before planning your next event or partnership.
Facility & Park Rentals
• Advance Booking Windows: All park pavilions, fields, and community indoor spaces must be reserved prior to the requested event date.
• Security Deposits: A standard refundable security deposit is now required for some event bookings to cover potential damages or excessive cleanup.
• Contract: All events held will need a signed contract on file with Luce County Parks and Recreation.
Contract Agreements & Vendor Guidelines
• Vendor Permits: Third-party vendors (such as catering services, bounce house operators, and entertainers) must submit proof of liability insurance before operating on county property.
• Commercial Use: Any ticketed, for-profit events are not permitted within Luce County Parks and Recreation facilities.
• Recurring League & Organization Agreements: Local sports leagues and recurring community groups must submit their seasonal schedules and signed usage contracts before field allocations are finalized.
Updated application forms, fee schedules, and full policy documents are available at the Luce County Parks and Recreation office.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our parks safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.
