I’ve always been a light chaser. As a little girl, I’d open wide the curtains the moment I woke up. As an adult, I step outside no matter what the weather, to feel the sun, the energy, on my face.

Sunlight breathes life into every cell of our bodies and prepares them for the billions of pathways and processes happening for that day. Just one day.

Our bodies are absolutely incredible. And so is being in the light.

🍁A (very) last minute booking at The Timber House last weekend meant a last minute trek to the North Shore to take in all of the fall colors. It did not disappoint!

We hiked along Bean and Bear Lake to the overlook and couldn’t believe we were in Minnesota. The views were stunning. This is such a fun hike to do when staying at Superior Hideaway since the Penn Boulevard Trail Head is less than 10 minutes from the property.

We ate great food in Duluth and enjoyed the sunshine throughout Canal Park and along the lake. 🍂
