'From the Ground Up' Community Garden, located in Downtown Pensacola, is a project of Innisfree Hotels corporate social responsibility program, The Hive. Here in our garden, we're planting more than vegetables. We’re planting a chance for kids and their parents to grow healthy foods that will sustain their bodies, as well as their minds.

10.29.2026: TH ~ Day 1 Foo Foo Festival popped into 309 Punk Project ‘s HalloZine saw lots of friends and got to chat with Martin Wong, who spoke at HalloZine brought his magazines and GUESS WHAT?! 💥💥💥 His son and nieces/ nephews are playing tonight thehandlebar850 They are The Linda Lindas The Linda Lindas Check Em out and check HaloZine. Lots of garden friends are there hanging out! They open at Voices of Pensacola tmr (F 10.30.2026) at 11 and close the day with a docu film about Martin’s magazine, Giant Robot.

🌱 Hey Y’all! 🛠️🌿

After months of waiting, we’re finally putting up a section of fencing along the skate park, including gates! 🎉 We’re getting some help from The Home Depot 🧡, but could use some community 💪 brawn and 🧠 brains, too! And you too will learn how to install a fence.

🚧 This is Phase 1 and is NOT meant to keep folks from enjoying the garden. It’s about keeping the space safe, especially for those who have been entering without using an open gate.

🙌 Please let me know if you can lend a hand! The Home Depot is providing food 🍔, but we may also need help with cooking and other odds and ends.
