We are a university based, outdoor education and recreation program which offers common adventure trips, classes & workshops, and outdoor informational services. The Outdoor Adventure Center provides outdoor equipment rentals, information on the equipment, and equipment repairs.

Happy Halloween! We have some treats for you!

They are highlights of the prizes that our sponsors donated for the Warren Miller Entertainment raffle!

Crazy Creek Products LLC has collaborated with Osprey Packs to create their unique chair and pack combo! The collaboration features the Hex 2.0 chair and the Talon 33 pack! We are excited to have this unique collaboration in the raffle!

Flylow Gear is known for building ski clothes that could do it all! They wanted to fill the gap in creating durable, sustainable, and quality clothing and they have! There will be hats and a jacket in the raffle!

K'Lani is a jewelry brand that is versatile! They created hair ties that can also be worn as bracelets and we are excited that they will be in the Warren Miller Raffle!

Ready for deals on ski and snowboard equipment? The Pocatello Ski Swap is coming up soon!

The Pocatello Ski Swap will be November 13 - 14 at the Pond Student Union Building. Admission is free!

Pebble Creek Ski Area will be selling passes and merchandise, and you can pick up your season passes there too! They have extended the summer season pass sale through November 14th!

Barrie's Ski And Sports will be selling tons of equipment at the sale as well!

All proceeds support the ISU Outdoor Adventure Center and Pebble Creek Ski Patrol.

Bring equipment to the swap for consignment before the sale begins:
Thursday, Nov 12: 4 - 8pm
Friday, Nov 13: 10am - 4pm

Equipment will not be accepted for consignment once the sale starts.

Open Kayak will be this evening from 6pm - 8pm in the Reed Gym Pool!

Beginners are welcome! We will provide kayaks, equipment, and instruction. You are welcome to bring your own kayak and gear but they must be clean!

It is free for ISU students and Campus Recreation members. There is a $10 day pass for at the Campus Recreation front desk.

Our next Warren Miller Entertainment raffle sponsors are Matador and Bivo!

Forward Outdoor Apparel Company creates high performance, lasting equipment, that is committed to the planet, and we are excited to have them in the Warren Miller raffle!

Dry Brew is a new take on coffee where no mug is required and you have your "coffee in a bite"! They have donated a Coffee Box which includes Coffee Bites, Double Shot Espresso, and Salted Caramel Coffee Bites for the raffle!

Students had a lot of new experiences on OAC trips this weekend! Some went to Craters of the Moon NPS and others when to Inman Yurt!

It was everyone's first time at Craters of the Moon NPS and they were able to go into a lava tube, earn their first Junior Ranger badges, and see great views! Benny even earned his Junior Ranger badge!

The other group hiked up in the rain to stay at one of our Mongolian style huts, Inman Yurt! The group woke up to a surprise, snow outside the yurt!

Thank you to ASISU Associated Students of Idaho State University for providing the funding for these students to go on a trip for free!

We are two weeks away from the Idaho Falls Ski Swap!

The sale will be on Friday, Nov 6 from 5 - 10pm and Saturday, Nov 7 from 9am - 6pm at the Bennion Student Union Building. Kelly Canyon Resort will be there selling passes and merchanise and Barrie's Ski And Sports will be selling equipment! Admission is free!

If you want to sell your equipment, we will accept consignments on Thursday, Nov 5 from 4 - 8pm and Friday, Nov 6 from 10am - 4pm. We will not accept consignments after the sale starts.

The proceeds will go to support the Idaho Falls Composite Youth Bike Team and the ISU Outdoor Adventure Center.

Open Kayak season begins tomorrow!
