The Sun Lodge-Cozy, Secluded & Breathtaking Views
5 Star Review ☀☀☀☀☀

Location, location, location! The home is in a private community. It is serene and beautiful. The views from the deck are stunning. We went during peak leaf season and I don't believe we've ever stayed anywhere that would rival this view. The inside of the home is cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved our time here!

A Mountain Blessing for The Sun Lodge

Bless this home upon the mountain,
The Sun Lodge, cradled by ancient trees
And watched over by the wide, unending sky.
May its rooms gather peace
The way dawn gathers light—
Gently, quietly, completely.
May every traveler who crosses its threshold
Feel the embrace of safety, warmth, and welcome.
May the weary find rest here,
And the hopeful find their spirits rising.
Let a spirit of peace linger in every corner,
Softening conversations with kindness
And filling the still moments
With a calm that settles the soul.
May gratitude awaken with each sunrise
As it spills over these steadfast mountains,
And may all who journey to The Sun Lodge
Depart lighter, restored, and renewed—
Carrying the mountain’s own calm within them.

What a beautiful property!!! We have stayed in some pretty amazing places, but this place definitely was in the top 3. What beautiful surroundings and the serenity of the entire home. It was so peaceful sitting out on the back deck at night looking over the mountains seeing the stars and moon. The home was exactly as described. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space, kitchen fully stocked! We would absolutely stay here again & hope to return! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
