It is an eagle, I watched fly to the post as
Josie and I walked on the rail trail. Majestic! 💕

Candy's cottage was the best AirBnb I've ever stayed in, and my 2 friends who celebrated my birthday with me wholeheartedly agreed! She and Freddie were SO friendly and hospitable and went above and beyond to think of every little thing a guest would need. I was very touched by the birthday card, gift, party hat, and whoopie pie she left on the kitchen table. And we all really enjoyed visiting with Lulu and Angel (their friendly, adorable pigs) and their dog Josie. Staying in this homey and comfortable cottage in the rolling hills of Amish country made my birthday super special. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here, and I can't wait to come back!

These sweet and oh so cute couple Dana Ratliff and Angie Ratliff from Virginia third stay at the Pack House, including celebrating their birthdays too. That is such a compliment, we are so grateful! 🎂🥳🎉🐷💕

Parade night! Official opening of the Solanco Fair at the fair grounds in Quarryville Sept 16 -18. Folks lay their chairs days before to guarantee their favorite spot. It started in 1950 and thousands enjoy this annual agricultural event!

Swine vet is in the house with Angel and Lulu, they are fine just annual check up and triming. I am waiting outside, its too traumatizing for me too! A humming bird keeping me company and bringing some joy! 🐖🐷💕

Lindsay, Thank YOU for an awesome review!

We absolutely loved our stay with Candy and Freddie! They have truly thought of everything. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable, full of adorable eclectic touches, and the farm-fresh goodies Candy leaves are amazing. Definitely check out her homemade soaps and lotions too. She even made something custom for a skin issue with my horse, which was incredibly thoughtful.

The two pot-bellied pigs are the sweetest, their Pomsky is adorable, and Candy and Freddie are wonderful hosts. They give you complete privacy but are also genuinely fun people to sit and chat with. Freddie knows so much about the area and local culture and gave us great recommendations.

I stayed over my birthday, and Candy surprised me with a card, fresh whoopie pie, candle, and birthday hat, which was such a sweet touch.

The whole area is absolutely beautiful. Sitting on the porch swing, listening to the buggy horses go by, watching the hummingbirds, breathing in the fresh air, and seeing the stars at night was exactly what I needed.
