Thank You for Joining Us for Wilderness Wonders / Nature Weekend!

A big thank you to everyone who participated in our Make-A-Bird-Feeder Craft and our first-ever Bird Bingo Challenge. It was great seeing so many campers of all ages discovering the amazing birds and wildlife that call Hickory Hollow home. From colorful cardinals and bluebirds to hawks and eagles, there were plenty of feathered friends to spot throughout the campground!

Congratulations to our Bird Bingo Champions! Laura Seybold & Taelynn Blystone – Site 16 . Please stop by the Campground Office to claim your prize – a new set of binoculars!

We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to all of our campers for your patience and understanding during the severe weather that moved through the area on Saturday evening. Mother Nature certainly gave us a little extra "wilderness adventure" including 6 hours of "primitive" camping! We appreciate everyone weathering the storm with us and your cooperation while crews worked to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. Kudo's to the linemen at Somerset Rural Electric for the important work that they do under very difficult conditions. 👏👏

Despite the unexpected weather, it was wonderful to see the campground community come together and make the best of the weekend. That's one of the many things that makes Hickory Hollow such a special place.

Thank you again for spending your weekend with us. We look forward to seeing everyone back around the campground for more fun, activities, and adventures throughout the season!

THANK YOU to all of our amazing campers who joined us for our Campfire Classics & Fireside Flavors Weekend! From creating one-of-a-kind crafts and personalized campground signs to "hey" rides and gathering around for our delicious S'mores Social, the weekend was packed with creativity, laughter, and sweet memories.
