Along the River RV Park is looking for a work camper (single or couple) starting as soon as possible. Our work campers work 20 hours a week over 5 days in return for a full hook-up rv site. We are in need of someone who will clean and maintain our park cabins (2) and restrooms. Also light trash pick up when needed. If any of our camping friends are interested, or you know of anyone who might be, please contact at 575-336-4444. Thanks to all of you for spreading the word.

So far we have not been affected by the fire and our situation is looking positive. The fire is still burning in some areas, but the air quality has improved tremendously. However, the road closures are still in effect and it has been estimated as of June 20th that it may be a week or more before Ruidoso opens back up. We are open and ready for business for those who want to come. If you have a reservation prior to June 28th, we can cancel at no charge and will reassess the situation next week. If you have questions or concerns, please call us. Thank you.

We always have lots of hummingbirds in the park during Spring and Summer, but this is the first time we have actually found a nest. This cute mama is sitting on 2 eggs.

In compliance with the New Mexico Governor’s order to close all non-essential businesses statewide, we will be closed until April 10.
