Panhandle Lake 4-H Camp Panhandle Lake 4-H Camp is not just a summer camp for youth. We are a complete facility for retreats, The first 4-H camping session was held in July of 1948.

We are a complete facility for retreats, weddings, conferences, family reunions, youth camp experiences, natural resource education, relaxation and fun. We have a full commercial kitchen and a dining hall large enough to accommodate 220 people. The main lodge meets the needs of a retreat center for fifty people and sleeps 28. ociation was founded in 1947 with the purchase of a 30-acre piece of ground. The Association acquired an additional 30 acres in 1951, and have since added to the land size, a few acres at a time, to reach a total of 490 acres. The 4-H Clubs of Mason and Grays Harbor Counties own Panhandle Lake 4-H Camp so many years of fund raising has gone into the development of the facility. The original building was demolished in 1959 to make way for building the first true lodge facility. This building was remodeled in 1994 to become the lodge you see today. Over the years we’ve built a dining hall, bathhouse, dorms for 50 persons, and 21 Adirondack cabins. The most recent construction project, completed in 2000, is a livestock facility encompassing a 38 stall barn, 190' x 90' arena, and 5 miles of trails. Mission Statement: To Provide a unique environment supporting outdoor recreation, natural resource education, life skills, and leadership development for our youth and communities.

Join us May 2–3 at Panhandle Lake 4-H Camp for an overnight experience filled with leadership workshops, camp activities, and the chance to connect with teens from across the region.

🐣🌷 Panhandle Lake’s Annual Egg Hunt is Back! 🌷🐣

Spring is around the corner, which means it’s time for one of our favorite traditions at Panhandle Lake 4-H Camp — our Annual Egg Hunt!

Instead of a mad dash across a field, families head out together to explore the cabins and wooded trails around camp, searching for eggs along the way. Kids get the excitement of the hunt while families enjoy a fun spring outing together at camp.

This event has been a favorite for many families over the years, and we love welcoming both returning families and those joining us for the first time. Grab your baskets, bring the kids, and come enjoy a morning of egg hunting at Panhandle Lake!
