Fall offers fewer crowds, beautiful colors, great wildlife viewing, and peaceful outdoor adventures—making it one of the best times to explore the Kenai Peninsula.

Take a scenic drive or hike to see the peninsula turn gold and orange in September. The forests around the Kenai River and nearby lakes become especially vibrant in autumn.

The season is starting to wind down at Kenai Adventure Cabins… but there’s still time to visit!

We still have September availability if you’re looking to enjoy the quieter side of the Kenai Peninsula—beautiful fall colors, crisp mornings, and fewer crowds. It’s a great time to relax, explore, and enjoy Alaska.

We’re also starting to plan for long-term rentals beginning in October. If you or someone you know is looking for a comfortable place to stay in the Soldotna area this fall or winter, we’d love to connect.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2025 5-Star Review: "This is an amazing place to stay!! The owners are beyond far the most welcoming and warm hearted. I lived in Soldotna and rented one of their cabins for a few months. They thought of everything to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
The property is peaceful and has all the amenities to make your stay joyful.
I can’t say enough and have already reserved a cabin for fishing season next year!
