Justin Trails Resort is a dog-friendly, Eco-Luxury Resort offering day trips, camping, B&B suites and cabins in Wisconsin. Dogs stay with you $39/dog/day. We are the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing getaway from city life. Our resort is family and dog-friendly! We are also a Certified Travel Green Wisconsin Inn. Our Wisconsin bed and breakfast accommodations include private decks, porches, balconies in addition to whirlpools, fireplaces, kitchenettes and more. Our HUGE 200-acre property offers unlimited options for outdoor fun. Whether you visit for the day, stay overnight or are enjoying an event, our land provides a relaxing spot to play lawn games and is safe for children to play. Located in the Driftless Region of Southwestern Wisconsin our land has a built-in 250 feet of elevation change. In this unglaciated area the terrain is a mix of steep hills, breath-taking vistas, woodland, streams, ponds and grassy park-like meadows. We’ve created recreational trails through woodlands and meadows for hiking & snowshoeing. Delightfully, our snow tubing hills bring squeals and laughter from young and old alike. In addition, two disc golf courses have been added. Much of our resort is park-like and grassy like a lawn. We mow a total of approx 25 acres each week including fairways for 37 baskets on our disc golf courses, hiking trails and the 1/2 mile of grassy areas around our English gardens. Nights are magnificent any time of year! Clear, skies make it easy to see the Milky Way, Andromeda, Cassiopeia, the Big Dipper and more. Meteor showers continue throughout the year peaking in August. Atop one of our hills at basket #16 on our Big Brother disc golf course, you’ll enjoy a clear 360 view of the night sky. Here’s what Amy had to say about her stay in Little House on the Prairie “My fiancé, our dog, and I stayed in the Little House on the Prairie Cabin at Justin Trails Resort, and it honestly meant so much to us. It was the exact cozy getaway we needed to celebrate 14 years together. The cabin was the perfect size for the two of us and our small dog, and waking up to see the llamas right outside our window every morning put the biggest smile on our faces.
Donna is one of the kindest hosts we’ve ever met. On our first morning, when she found out we were celebrating our anniversary, she played the anniversary waltz for us on the piano. It was such a sweet, thoughtful gesture that brought a smile to our faces. And her breakfasts are incredible! Everything she made was cooked with love and completely hit the spot. I would honestly go back just for her breakfast alone!
We spent time walking around the spacious grounds and tackled the Big Brother Disc Golf course on the property. It was definitely a workout, but taking in those beautiful fall views together made the whole walk feel so rewarding. The guide in our cabin was also filled with great local food spots, trail ideas, and the history behind Donna and her family, which made the stay feel so personal and connected.
It was a quiet, memorable trip that gave us the chance to slow down, celebrate our story, and just enjoy being together. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to mark 14 years! We can’t wait to come back!”
