Dear Friends,

Tonight there was a fire located at one of our villas on our property about a half-mile from the Lodge. All guests are safe and the Lodge was not affected in any way. We want to ensure our community is up to date with this information and heard it from the source. For those that have reached out with your concerns, we appreciate the outreach. We thank the Stowe and other local area fire departments for their service to ensure the fire was contained as quickly as possible.

Make yourself at home and stay awhile.

There's a reason you'll find so many inviting spaces tucked throughout the Lodge. It was always meant to feel more like a home than a hotel. And with chilly Vermont days ahead, we can't think of a better time to enjoy them.

Late fall is a great time to get out and play a little disc golf!

Grab a few friends and head out for a round on our 18-hole course, then stop by the von Trapp Brewing Bierhall for a bite to eat and a well-earned l***r afterward. 🍻

October on our mountaintop. 🍂

Vermont really showed off this foliage season. The colors may be fading now, but we’re still finding plenty to love about this time of year.

Rain in the forecast? We don’t mind. 🌧️☕️📚

A warm fire, a good book, a little time to relax, and nowhere else you need to be. We’d call that a day well spent.

A piece of Vermont history. 💚

Today, we officially unveiled a new Vermont Historic Roadside Marker recognizing the history of the von Trapp family and the legacy they established here in Vermont.

Vermont’s distinctive green-and-gold roadside markers recognize people, places and events that have made significant contributions to the history of Vermont, the region and the nation.

We were honored to mark the occasion alongside members of the von Trapp family, community members, representatives from the State of Vermont and U.S. Senator Peter Welch.

A special day for our family, our property and the place we’ve called home for generations.
