Built in 1877 as the family home of prominent business man and entrepreneur, Thomas Smith, it overlooks the working waterfront to which it has many ties. Hi guys! I've had a few people ask how I'm doing so I'll post an update. On 6/4 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. On 7/3 I had a bilateral mastectomy. On 10/19 I finally had a diep flap reconstruction surgery. The recovery will be about 10 weeks. Its good we are coming into our slower season 😅 I'm feeling good, just a bit sore. 2026 has been a doozy and I really hope next year will be more kind to us. I thank God that the dr found my cancer early and I'm thankful for my amazing husband, kids and family for all the help they've given. Also a big thank you to our guests (YOU) who continue to patronize our inn. We love you!
