🌟 Eagle Adventure Camp – Day #1! 🌟

(Regular Camp)

What an awesome start to camp! Today we got into our groups, met new friends, and talked about our Word of the Day: KINDNESS 💙. Throughout the day, campers practiced showing kindness to others through their words, actions, and teamwork.

👏 Congratulations to our Campers of the Day! Be sure to check out their photos and help us celebrate their great example of kindness!

📦 Sunbury Blessing Box Donations
We are continuing to collect non-perishable food items and hygiene products for the Sunbury Blessing Box. Thank you to everyone who has already donated! Keep those donations coming as our teams compete to make a difference in our community. ❤️

🎳 Tomorrow’s Field Trip: Bowling!
Campers will be heading to the bowling alley for a fun-filled day. Please wear tennis shoes so you’re ready to hit the lanes!

We had a fantastic first day filled with fun, laughter, and new friendships. We can’t wait to see everyone back tomorrow for another exciting day of adventure! 🦅❤️🖤

🔥 Eagle Adventure Camp - Level Up Camp Day #1 🔥

What an incredible first day with our Level Up campers! These middle schoolers came ready to compete, create, and have fun as we kicked off an awesome week together.

🏐 Mat Ball
🎨 Makerspace
🍽️ Lunch with friends
🏈 Flag Football
😎 Free Choice Activities

🥤 Campers also enjoyed delicious smoothies from Tropical Smoothie and received their official Eagle Adventure Camp Level Up t-shirts!

From friendly competition on the field to creativity during Makerspace, our campers had a fantastic first day building friendships, trying new activities, and making memories.

⛳ Tomorrow’s Field Trip: Westerville Golf Center! ⛳

Campers will rotate through three exciting activities:

⚾ Batting Cages
⛳ Putt-Putt Golf

We’re looking forward to a fun-filled day of friendly competition and new experiences!

Week 3 of Eagle Adventure Camp starts tomorrow morning!

If you registered, please check your email for the dropoff/pickup procedures and an outline of the week. Dropoff starts at 8:45 at the Shelter behind Sunbury United Methodist Church. Please don’t forget to print and fill out the waivers. These are attached to the Week 2 email, as well as on our website. *If you came to already to Eagle Adventure Camp this summer you do NOT have to fill these out again

ALSO!! Week 1 of Level Up camp (5th-8th grade) starts tomorrow at BWI! Please fill out the one page waiver and bring with you. If you have a 5th/6th grader that has already came to our regular camp this summer and filled out a waiver, you do not need to fill out another.

🌟 Eagle Adventure Camp – Day #5 🌟
🎉 Week One Complete! 🎉

What an amazing way to wrap up our first week of camp!

This morning, we recognized yesterday’s Campers of the Day before heading off to the pool. Although the weather started a little cloudy, the sun finally came out for the last hour, making for a fun afternoon in the water! ☀️🏊

After the pool, we returned to camp for lunch and enjoyed a special Dairy Queen treat to cool off. 🍦

The afternoon was packed with fun as campers rotated through the following stations:
Granny Pants
Bowling pins
Battle Ball
6 Corners
Pizza Tag
Squishy Craft
Swamp Ball

One of the biggest highlights of the week was our brand-new bounce house! 🏰 Campers had an absolute blast bouncing, jumping, and laughing together. We are so excited to have this new addition to camp this summer!

Our Word of the Day was Responsibility. Throughout the day, campers worked hard to demonstrate responsibility by taking care of themselves, their belongings, and each other. At the end of camp, we proudly recognized our Camper of the Day and Camper of the Week! 👏⭐

Krinsky's Taekwondo Academy is offering a free trial class for any new students Saturday 6/13 at 9:30am. Student's will get to try a class, break a board, and get donuts at the end. They are offering a special if you decide to enroll that day as well. Scan the QR code to book your spot!

🌟 Eagle Adventure Camp – Day #4 🌟

What a fantastic day at camp!

This morning, we recognized our Campers of the Day from yesterday. We are so proud of the positive attitudes and leadership they continue to show each day!

Campers started the day playing Zombie Tag and Bounce Back before heading to 4 Corners for some friendly competition and lots of laughs.
One of the highlights of the day was Makerspace! Our campers had the best time creating, building, and using their imaginations. Be sure to check out all of their awesome creations—we have some very talented campers!

After lunch, we headed to Gym Skills where campers had an amazing time learning new skills, trying challenging activities, and having fun with their friends.

Our Word of the Day was Sportsmanship. We saw so many examples of campers encouraging one another, playing fairly, and showing respect. We will recognize our Camper of the Day for Sportsmanship tomorrow morning!

🏊 Tomorrow is Pool Day! 🏊

We recommend campers wear their bathing suits to camp and bring:
�✔️ Towel�✔️ Change of clothes�✔️ Goggles�✔️ Flip-flops or Crocs�✔️ Tennis shoes for the afternoon

🍦 We will also be enjoying a DQ treat after lunchtime!

Eagle Adventure Camp Day #3 🦅☀️

Another great day of camp is in the books!

Our Word of the Day was Sportsmanship. Throughout the day, campers were encouraged to demonstrate fair play, respect for others, and positive attitudes during activities. We will announce our Camper of the Day tomorrow morning!

This morning, campers stayed active and had a blast playing:
🏰 Keeper of the Castle
🪑 Silent Seat Ball
🏐 Battle Ball
🚩 Flag Tag

After lunch, we headed to TOCA for an exciting afternoon! Campers were divided into six groups and rotated through six different stations, participating in a variety of games, challenges, and activities. Everyone stayed engaged, worked together, and had a lot of fun trying new things.

We are also continuing our collection of non-perishable food items for the Sunbury Blessing Box. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far! The competition is heating up, with the Blue Team and Orange Team currently battling for first place! Keep those donations coming!

We’re looking forward to another fun-filled day tomorrow as we head to Gym Skills in the afternoon. We can’t wait to see what adventures await!

🦅 Eagle Adventure Camp – Day #2 Update! 🦅

Today’s Word of the Day was RESPECT! Throughout the day, campers practiced showing respect to their fellow campers, counselors, and the places we visited. We’ll be looking for those great examples of respect as we continue our week together!

This morning was packed with fun as campers played:
Galaxy Ball
Monster Ball
Dr. Dodgeball
Silent Seatball

After working up an appetite, we enjoyed lunch together before heading out for an afternoon of bowling! Campers had a great time cheering each other on, celebrating strikes, and enjoying some friendly competition.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to the Sunbury Blessing Box so far! Your generosity is making a difference in our community. As of today, Orange Group is in the lead with the most donations! 🧡 Keep those donations coming, there’s still time for the other groups to catch up!

📅 Looking Ahead: Tomorrow we’ll be heading to TOCA ⚽️ for an afternoon of games and activities. We can’t wait for another exciting day of camp adventures!

Eagle Adventure Camp – Day #1 ☀️

What a fantastic start to another week of Eagle Adventure Camp!

Our Word of the Day was KINDNESS. We talked about what it means to be kind to others, include everyone, and make new friends. Congratulations to all of our Campers of the Day who were recognized for demonstrating kindness throughout the day!

We started the morning by getting into our groups and learning everyone’s names. It’s always exciting to see new friendships begin to form!

Today’s activities included:
🍕 Pizza Tag
🏃 Bounce Back
🧟 Zombie Tag
🌴 Swampball
⚽ Rollerball
🔢 6 Corners
🥋 A walk to Krinsky’s Taekwondo

Campers also enjoyed a cool popsicle treat and got creative with a craft, choosing to make either a snake or flowers.

If this was your camper’s first week of camp, they received their official Eagle Adventure Camp t-shirt. If this was their second week, they received a pair of EAC sunglasses! 😎

Looking Ahead to Tomorrow:
🎳 We will be going bowling in the afternoon. Please make sure your camper wears tennis shoes, as they are required for bowling.
