Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, which makes for a perfect mountain weekend.

Here's what's on at Pisgah Brewing in Black Mountain:
• Fri, Oct 30: An Evening with Full Cord. Doors 7:00 PM, show 8:00 PM, $13.76, all ages.
• Sat, Oct 31: Jerry's Dead Halloween Show at 8:00 PM, $10 cover.

If you're taking the kids trick-or-treating in Black Mountain, check the Town of Black Mountain for safety tips. Then on Tuesday, Nov 3, Christmas at Biltmore opens for the season. Stay through the weekend and you can do it all.

Christmas at Biltmore opens Tuesday, Nov 3 and runs through Jan 9, 2027. Biltmore House fills with hand-decorated trees, ribbon, and poinsettias, and November weekdays are a lovely, quieter time to see it before the holiday rush.
