Some gifts arrive wrapped in more than just kindness — they arrive wrapped in history.

We recently received the most beautiful donation — a teacup shelf and collection that has now found its perfect forever home in Wealthy Hall on our second floor. And the moment it went up on that wall, it looked like it had always been there.

That's the thing about this old girl. She has a way of welcoming the stories of other families and making them part of her own.

Every teacup on that shelf lived a life before it arrived here. It sat on someone's table. It was passed down with intention. It was loved. And now it gets to be loved all over again — by every guest who steps into Wealthy Hall and pauses to take it in.

We are so grateful to the family who chose to share their collection with us. Your memories are safe here, beautifully displayed, and very much still being cherished.

This is what we mean when we say The Stacy Mansion is more than a building. She is a living, breathing collection of the people and stories that have found their way to her. And we hope she holds many, many more.

Our very first Garden & Sound Escape of the summer is Tuesday, June 9th from 6–8 PM — and right now, these gardens are putting on quite a show.

Two hours. Pure, unhurried serenity surrounded by everything that makes a summer evening in Tecumseh worth slowing down for.

Tickets are still available for Tuesday — but if you can't make it this month, we have three more chances to escape with us this summer.

A year ago this month, something exciting happened for the very first time. Our very first official advertisement appeared in HOMEFRONT magazine — and just like that, The Stacy Mansion introduced itself to the world.

We remember the thrill of seeing it in print. Our home. Our dream. Our name. Right there on the page.

But here's the thing that stops us in our tracks when we look at it now — even the house in that ad looks different. In just one year, this property has been transformed in ways we couldn't have fully imagined when that photo was taken. New fence. Gardens coming to life. A wedding arch almost completed. Spaces that have hosted hundreds of guests, celebrations, milestones, and memories.

One year. One advertisement. And an entire lifetime of change packed into twelve remarkable months.

We are so grateful to HOMEFRONT for being part of our very first chapter — and even more grateful to every single person who saw that ad, got curious, and found their way to us.

Here's to year one coming to a close in just over a week. We have a feeling year two is going to be even better.

This week we're raising a glass to the jobs nobody sees. The ones that don't make the highlight reel. The ones that happen before the pretty photos, before the guests arrive, and definitely before anyone's watching.

Because here's the truth about running a historic mansion that nobody tells you —
For every candlelit garden evening, there's someone on their hands and knees the day before.

A couple of weeks ago, that someone was us. Elbow deep in the fountain. Scrubbing. Rinsing. Scrubbing again.

But you know what? That fountain is now so clean you could practically drink from it.

And when guests stroll through these gardens and hear that gentle trickle of water and think *"how lovely"* — we will be right there smiling and nodding like we didn't just spend an afternoon wrestling algae.

This week we are sending the biggest congratulations to the incredible **Lyla Castorena** — a high school graduate with her whole beautiful future ahead of her!

This past weekend, Lyla's parents **Kate and Jeremy** brought their family and out of town guests to The Stacy Mansion to celebrate this milestone in the most thoughtful, beautiful way — and we were so honored to be part of it.

Now, did the weather cooperate? Absolutely not.
Did that stop Kate for even one single second? Also absolutely not.

Under the tent, you would never have known a cloud existed in the sky. Because what Kate created in there was nothing short of stunning — a party that didn't just celebrate where Lyla is going, but beautifully honored every step of the journey that brought her here.
