We have been smiling since Saturday and we do not plan on stopping anytime soon.

This past weekend The Stacy Mansion had the absolute honor and joy of hosting our first gay wedding — and Abbie and Madi brought every single bit of magic, color, personality, and love you could possibly fit into one beautiful day.

Where do we even begin.

Fourteen bridal party members who showed up and showed out. A ring bearer who happened to be the cutest lil bear. A flower boy who absolutely nailed his moment. Two signature drinks that disappeared at a very respectable pace. A taco truck because Abbie and Madi clearly have excellent taste. Heart-shaped churros that we are still thinking about. A rainbow cake that was almost too beautiful to cut. And at the end of the night — light sabers on the dance floor. Because of course.

And after a week of uncertain weather, the sky cleared and gave these two the most beautiful day it possibly could. Almost like it knew.

This is exactly what we mean when we say all love is celebrated here. Every couple. Every story. Every detail that makes a wedding unmistakably and completely yours.

Abbie and Madi — thank you for choosing The Stacy Mansion for your day. Thank you for letting us be part of your story. And thank you for reminding us why we built this place in the first damn time.

We're building something cozy over here. ☕📚

Hot cocoa bar prep is officially underway for The Book Social at The Stacy Mansion — and we may have gotten a little carried away with the syrups. Brown sugar cinnamon, classic caramel, white chocolate... no wrong answers here.

Lotus cookies, marshmallows, Ghirardelli caramel, spicy chai, and a stack of vintage books to set the mood. We think we're ready.

Thursday is almost here and we want to make sure you have your spot.

The Book Social with Novella Bound is this week — September 10th from 6–8 PM at The Stacy Mansion — and it is going to be such a cozy, wonderful evening to kick off the fall season.

Wrap up to three books from home, bring them along for the swap, sip something warm from the hot chocolate bar, make a handmade bookmark, and leave with at least one new mystery book wrapped and waiting to be discovered. Every ticket also includes a Blind Date with a Book curated by the lovely team at Novella Bound — because sometimes the best reads are the ones you never would have picked for yourself.

No literary expertise required. Just a love of good company, warm drinks, and the particular joy of a brand new book in your hands.

Good morning Tecumseh — we have a little surprise waiting for you at the end of our circle drive.

We hosted a beautiful wedding here last night and the happy couple has no need for the flowers — so rather than let them sit, we are sending them home with you.

Fresh bouquets from last night's celebration are sitting right now on a picnic table on our circle drive — free to anyone who wants them. Just pull through, grab one from the picnic table, and enjoy them. No need to stop in, no need to knock. Just grab and go.

They were cut fresh Friday so they have a few beautiful days left in them — more than enough time to brighten up your kitchen table, your office desk, or someone's day who could use a little unexpected joy delivered by way of flowers.

First come, first served. We hope they make you smile.

Breaking news from The Stacy Mansion: productivity has been suspended in favor of bubbles.

Danielle and Serena stepped away from the to-do list this week for a very important research project — testing the full bubble-making potential of a pond setting. The results were conclusive. Big ones. Small ones. Some genuinely the size of your head. All of them floating lazily out over the gardens while two grown women giggled like it was 1987.

Childhood called. We answered. And it was wonderful.

Honestly, we think bubbles by the pond should be a mandatory part of every stay at The Stacy Mansion. There is something about watching a giant bubble drift through the air on a late summer afternoon that makes every single thing feel okay.

Come stay with us and maybe — just maybe — we will share the bubble wand.
