Spend a little time at the Arizona Inn and you start to wander slower.

Past the pink walls and blue shutters, under palms that have watched nearly a century go by, through gardens that are still green and bright.

A fountain in the sun. A corner with flowers. A table set for tea and a book, tucked away just for you.

You look up and spot a tile mural on the stair, a balcony with a story, a window framed the same way it was in 1930 - each a small reminder of what Isabella Greenway wanted you to find here: privacy, quiet, and sunshine.

At the Arizona Inn, you don’t just stay. You stumble upon it.

What if the smallest wedding guest list gave you the most room to remember it?

The catch of breath before your vows. The people you love close enough to see their eyes fill. One long table, shared laughter, and the rare gift of unhurried time with the people you always wish you saw more.

Behind Arizona Inn’s pink walls, a story that began in 1930 makes room for another beginning. Beyond the garden gates, Tucson softens into birdsong, shaded paths, and vows beneath the palms.

Two people. A few beloved faces. A little world of your own.

Here, your love story becomes part of ours. Discover intimate celebrations at Arizona Inn.

The reimagined Audubon Bar, anticipated to reopen mid November!

Over the decades, the bar has evolved with changing dining tastes, and this next chapter continues that tradition with care for the room’s history. Its original layout remains, with thoughtfully renewed finishes inspired by the original 1933 murals of Tucson artist and designer Leionne Salter, who worked alongside Isabella Greenway in shaping the Inn’s interiors.

Uncovered some time ago after decades beneath layers of paint, the murals and historic photographs of the original bar became the foundation for the redesign. Their patterns and colors live on in the fabrics, finishes and details, complemented by brass and bird motifs that honor the Inn’s long-standing love of the natural world.

Polished and a little more elevated, Audubon revives the post-Prohibition spirit that made it the place to be in 1933 - ready for new gatherings in 2026 and bringing a fresh perspective to dining with approachable American favorites, seasonal ingredients, and subtle touches of Sonoran flavor.

Discover Audubon through the link in our bio.

They call her the pink palace of the desert, but the real secret is what's hidden inside the gardens…

A Naturalist's Tale in a Desert Oasis.

Hidden beneath the palms in Tucson, the historic Arizona Inn spreads across 14 acres in rich shades of palm, citrus, and agave. Pink walls that glow under the Sonoran sun where ordinary observation slowly becomes curiosity, and curiosity becomes wonder at who walked these very brick paths.

You don't just visit here. You slow down, wander the garden paths, and get lost in the history, like a book you cant put down.

What does a hotel that opened in 1930 have to do with the Great American Road Trip?

More than you might imagine.

As Americans began discovering the freedom of the open road, Isabella Greenway was creating something remarkable in Tucson - a place built around privacy, quiet and sunshine, where travelers could slow down, settle in and feel genuinely welcomed.

Ninety-six years later, the roads have changed. The cars have changed. Generations have come and gone.

But that feeling of arriving somewhere special remains.

And now, Arizona Inn has been named one of the 2026 Top 25 Great American Road Trip Hotels by Historic Hotels of America®.

Perhaps the best journeys don’t simply take us somewhere new.

They lead us somewhere with a story.

What place would you take the long way to return to?
