Our 4 bedroom home is furnished with log beds handmade in the USA. Newly renovated kitchen with granite stainless steel, great room with gas fireplace, 4 baths, indoor hot tub, sauna, fitness room, pool table, private deck, large tv's with cable, free wifi & a video library.

Glad to finally have an opportunity to pop in to the East Dover General Store
They offer everything from penny candy, to gluten free finds, basic necessities, my favorite New Zealand sauv blanc, fresh produce, a fully stocked cold room featuring Vermont cheeses & absolutely delish sandwiches! A nice easy dinner after a long day exploring!

An old school pavilion, a man made lake & an interesting trail.
The Robert Frost trail takes you through woods, around the lake, over boardwalks, a pedestrian covered bridge & through beautiful wildflower fields!
There are so many wild flowers along the way including wild asters, goldenrod, daisies, mushrooms, moss, ferns elderberry, serviceberry…
A lovely Robert Frost poem adorns the covered bridge.
This trail doesn’t seem well traveled or well marked. It was quite overgrown and we actually got lost once we passed the covered bridge and had to turn back.
It’s an interesting and relatively flat hike with little elevation gain.
I would hike it again!

This trail is just shy of 2 miles out & back with an elevation gain of 534ft.
The trail leads to a massive boulder pile where winter ice becomes trapped deep within the rocks and remains frozen well into the summer months, creating a natural air-conditioning effect with cool drafts.
