Westport Surf Shop is the surfing destination on the coast of Washington. We offer new and used surf boards, wetsuits, boogie boards, accessories and apparel. We also have board and suit rentals in addition to beach wear and other gear.

We showed up in a big way last night! Westport nature lovers, environmentalists, our surf community, tribes, concerned community members, visitors, and so many more. Our collective voice was very powerful, undeniable and we are very proud of the stance we are rooted in. Thank you all so much whether you were there in person or online, and we know so many were there in spirit. A special thank you to the Washington State Parks Commissioners who made the trek out to be a sounding board for everyone, on all sides, to share their views. It is not over, but for now back to the simple life we all love, SURFING!

Can’t believe it’s already been a decade! Hundreds, maybe thousands of pounds?! IDK it’s a lot. Someone told me, “That’s the way it’s always been and that’s the way it’s always gonna be.” I had a moment of disgust and did something about it. In one of my favorite movies, One California Day, Skip Frye Surfboards says, “Leave it a little bit better than you found it! “So that’s what I decided to do. Thanks Skipper! 🫡

Many of you ask about next steps to help avert the Westport Light State Park golf course proposal, and there is a critical date to take action!

🛑October 19th @ Aberdeen High School Auditorium (interesting location choice, we know 🫤)

If there’s any possible way for you to attend & make a public comment, that would be the ULTIMATE help. Next best way is to attend & make a comment virtually. 3rd best way is to submit a written comment (by Oct 15). They are all important & helpful courses of action!
