Since joining Etnika in January 2026, Nicolene has embraced the daily challenges of management as opportunities to think creatively and find solutions, while her deep love of nature and wildlife continues to inspire her journey towards becoming increasingly conservation-focused. ๐Ÿฆ’๐ŸŒฟ Her belief that understanding nature is the beginning of protecting it is beautifully reflected in her work โ€” and her advice to young women is simple: โ€œConsistency.โ€ Believe in what you want to achieve, keep working towards it and persevere.

For Patience, who joined Etnika in April 2025, hospitality is about commitment, hard work and creating a welcoming environment for guests. A proud mother of three daughters, she draws inspiration from her grandmother and believes women should be celebrated for the strength and courage they show in overcoming life's challenges. โค๏ธ And alongside her, Clementine โ€” also part of the team since April 2025 โ€” is building her future in hospitality, currently completing a short course in hospitality and general management. ๐ŸŒฑ She finds joy in Etnika's eco-friendly ethos and positive environment, and looks to Mam Lindah from Simbavati, a housekeeper since 2008, as an example of dedication and lifelong learning.

One of the most incredible sightings was a pack of African wild dogs, the rare and fascinating hunters of the savanna.

But the magic didn't stop there. Along the park's dusty roads, we also encountered hyenas, majestic elephants, elegant giraffes, and lions seeking shade beneath the African sun.
