Changing of the seasons means changing of the (ornithological) guard:
The little European Swifts and Greater Striped Swallows that have been swooping around our skies, under our roofs and millimeters past our heads have started their northward migration.
The Gurneys Sugar Birds and Double-collared Sunbirds are moving in on their favourite aloe clumps ahead of the flowering season.
What a privilege to play host to all these different birds, year-round.
