Kasteel is fortunate to have two special slogans: โ€œMy Huis, My Hart, My Landโ€ and โ€œForever Yours, Forever Mineโ€. Both hold a special place in our hearts and reflect what it means to be part of the Kasteel sisterhood.

โ€œForever Yours, Forever Mineโ€ originates from our residence song, *Special Star*, where the lyrics say, โ€œI will be forever yours and you will be forever mine.โ€ These words perfectly capture what Kasteel means to us. While your university journey may come to an end, the friendships, memories, and family you gain here will stay with you forever. Over time, these words became more than just lyrics, they became a slogan that every Kasteel lady carries with her long after she leaves our halls.

We are incredibly proud of Nicole van Zyl and all that she has achieved. Not only did she obtain her master's degree with distinction, but she is also currently pursuing her PhD, a remarkable accomplishment that reflects her dedication and perseverance.

Nicole previously served as Primaria of Kasteel, and we could not be prouder of the legacy she continues to leave behind. She is living life to the fullest, chasing her goals with passion, and remains an inspiring example for current and future Kasteel ladies to look up to.

We would also like to congratulate two other former Kasteel ladies on obtaining their master's degrees. Carla Joubert, who previously served on the SCC, and Thina Phadziri, who now serves as the House Parent of Bellatrix. We are incredibly proud of all three ladies and their outstanding achievements.

The Leave-a-Legacy Committee is made up of a group of carefully selected ladies who are being trained and equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to become future student leaders within Kasteel and the university.

Through various sessions and experiences, these ladies are challenged to grow, lead with purpose, and develop the qualities needed to make a meaningful impact in their communities. We are excited to see how they continue to grow and leave their mark on Kasteel.

Your student card is one of the most important things you will have at university. Not only is it used for safety and access control purposes, but it is also your entry ticket to exams and your access to the library.

You can also load money onto your student card and use it at various places on campus, including the SS, Voorhuis, the Draak, and even Spur ๐Ÿคญ. Your student card is also how you gain access to your residence after it has been locked and how you enter and exit campus. Safe to say, it's something you'll want to keep close by at all times!
