We are now officially closed! 💚🏕️

November - the next chapter, and we are all for hunkering down too! Plenty of winter jobs to do here before Christmas! 🎄

Just a few little touches for a cosy Autumn stay 🎃🍂

It's our final booking of the year, so this week we will mainly be drinking tea and reflecting on how crazy it's been!

Glamping Season 2027 is officially on the horizon 🏕️

We will be welcoming a new family member while the tents are closed over winter.. then we are excited to say that our next season starts at the beginning of May 2027!

Business will continue as usual around here, with booking options starting at a 2-night minimum stay.

Start planning your Spring getaway early and secure your dates (while our brains are fully functioning and we're not totally sleep deprived).

Haldon Forest is the perfect place for families to spend the day! There are walking and cycling routes, playgrounds, a bike pump track and the unmistakable Go Ape tree top trail.

We've been meaning to go here for ages, so it was nice to be in the area and spend some time exploring. Under an hour's drive away and the chocolate ice cream was wonderful on a warm September afternoon! 🍨

Park life ✌️
Keeping it simple, now that everyone is back to normality after school holidays, and there is a semblance of a routine!

We have quite a few parks within a short drive, for the days when the kids have loads of energy to burn and you're running on coffee fumes.

You can send them running up and down the glamping field, or if you're popping out for essentials then swing by somewhere with monkey bars and a zip line.

An afternoon exploring a nearby forest 🫈

There are sooo many lovely walks around here, if you want to venture out, whatever the weather 🌦️

Over the next few months, while we are quieter with glamping bits, we will try to show you some family and dog friendly places that we visit, and add to our list of recommendations.

A little bit of Devon countryside 💙

The summer holidays, aka our mad months, are coming to a close and it feels like there's been a sudden shift into Autumn! 🍂

The rain showers are quite welcome here; it's still warm and they bring the most amazing rainbows too.
