Nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the camping & caravan park is perfect for walkers, explorers & those seeking a relaxing countryside escape. The Green Caravan Park is a well established caravan and camping site situated in South Shropshire, set in the beautiful Onny valley between the Long Mynd and Stiperstones Hills.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 season.

What a year it’s been by the river. Buckets and nets, wellies full of water, and little ones racing up to reception to tell us about the fish and crayfish they’d spotted. Watching families switch off and spend real time together has been the best bit of all.

A few moments we’ll be laughing about all winter:

Little John, our robot mower, was flattened by a delivery lorry… and has since come back from the dead, ready for 2027
Guests wading in chest-deep to rescue stray footballs
Tents with no poles, electric pitches with no hook-up cable. Reception had it covered!
Some kids managed four ice creams a day (no names mentioned)
Our merch is so convincing that guests started asking one hoodie-wearing camper for directions

Thank you to the pizza trucks, burger vans, chippies and cake-and-coffee crew who brought everyone together, and to every one of you who stayed with us this year.

We’ve got lots planned for 2027, with more to share in the new year. See you by the river.

Please be aware that the C5150 Ratlinghope to Wentnor road will be fully closed from 9:30am on Monday 26th October until 4:00pm on Friday 30th October.

If you’re planning to visit us during this time, please take this closure into account and check your route before setting off.

"What a wonderful place to stay. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Sites were enormous and well spaced. The kids spent hours in the stream looking for crayfish which there were loads of. Very quiet at night and also during the day. Definitely recommend staying here."

This year we've welcomed a number of new families onto seasonal pitches, and our seasonal community has grown into something we're really proud of. 🌿

Which brings us to the slightly bittersweet bit: we're down to our last few pitches and once they're gone, we honestly can't say when the next will come up.

If you've stayed with us before and fancied a regular spot — or you're seasonal elsewhere and thinking of a change — this is probably the moment to say hello. Your own dedicated spot for 12 months, your caravan stays put over winter so your pitch is secured for next season, and we're always happy to lend a hand if you ever need to move it. (Worth knowing: grass pitches need the awning down after each stay to keep the ground in good shape — gravel doesn't have that restriction.)

£165 one-off site fee, then £185/month paid year-round. £350 to get started. (Current pricing — subject to change from March 2027.)
