Around a 20-minute drive from Lake District Self Catering House, Cottages and Lodge you’ll find Yew Tree Barn in Low Newton and it’s so much more than somewhere to stop for lunch.

Grab something at Harry’s Cafe then lose an hour or two wandering through architectural antiques, reclamation finds, the gallery and artisan spaces 🔎

It’s one of those places where you go in for coffee and come out wondering whether you need an antique stone trough in your garden 🪴

And yes, dogs can come too 🐾

Close enough to Bowness but far enough away from everything else 🌲

This is your reminder that you can leave on Friday and be back by Monday, putting your phone on ‘Do Not Disturb’ and disappearing into the Lake District for a couple of days is always a good idea 🤭
