Full Time Waiting/Bar Staff - £30,000.00 per year

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Full Time Waiting & Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your customer service skills within a lively dining environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, efficient food and beverage delivery, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Taking orders and serving food and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner
Preparing and serving drinks at the bar, ensuring quality standards are maintained
Assisting with setting up tables, clearing plates, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
Upselling menu items and specials to maximise guest satisfaction and sales opportunities
Ensuring adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations
Handling cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
Providing excellent guest services by addressing enquiries and resolving any issues promptly
Supporting kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required
Managing time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is desirable but not essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills
Strong guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment
