Filey Beach House

I need a warm neutral to paint the majority of the apartment in. I brought up all of my samples this week worked through most of them. There’s a paint called Satin Slipper from Farrow and Ball that I’m wanting to try!

The Beach House is done in Farrow and Ball Wimborne White. I love this colour but it’s not right for the vision I have here.

It’s a big decision for me, I’ve always agonised over paint colours.

Do you have any idea for a warm neutral in an east facing room like this?

Five minutes like this on the balcony makes me realise why I do this crazy job!

The peace is just stunning, the sea is hypnotic today.

My partner Komi took this footage the first weekend I got the new apartment in August. The brass band were setting up on Crescent Gardens and I was enjoying some sunshine on the fabulous sea view balcony.

This video showcases the unbelievable position of no. 12 The Crescent and makes me feel so very proud to own two apartments in this stunning building. I can’t wait to get stuck into making my new place the most luxurious property to stay in Filey. Taking the apartment back to its’ former glory truly commences this week!

What can I say? Filey gets my vote! Can I ask why you like Filey? (if you do, if you don’t you’re in the wrong place).

I’ve asked myself many times, why am
I so obsessed with Filey? I come up with the same answer time and time again. I love Filey because of its’ 5 mile Bay. That’s 5 miles of bay, sea and cliff views to admire. Being in Filey surrounded by so much water and beach is what soothes my soul.

Britain’s most unspoilt seaside town has been named, and it's a breathtaking coastal gem right here in Yorkshire with unmatched views - and no, it's not Whitby or Scarborough.

It’s wrap! Summer’s out! We have loved being in Filey and now we are back home and missing the sea, the views and the girls are saying that they didn’t have enough beach days! Maybe we will sneak a beach day in September if we get a heat wave. Back to school tomorrow 💕

Our guests are leaving today, they’ve had such a wonderful week that they have booked again for next year and want to extend their stay once I release these dates.

The family arriving today are here for their fourth year running, their grandchild was in utero the first time he visited and has been brought up coming for his holidays! How lucky? This is their third visit this year.

Repeat business means everything to me. It means my hard work has paid off and is being noticed by my guests. If you are reading this as a holiday home owner (I know plenty follow me) and you don’t get repeat business you need to evaluate your offering.

I’m sharing a few of my recent reviews, nearly all my guests are super grateful for being able to stay in my wonderful beach house. These reviews speak for themselves don’t they?
