Distilled: Food & Drink returns to Elgin this September.

Join us at UHI Moray on 11-12 September for a celebration of Speyside's food and drink producers, all under one roof.

Tickets go on sale Friday 26 June, with a limited early bird offer available until 24 July.

Stay tuned over the coming days as we reveal more about Distilled 2026.

Balmoral, battlefields, beaches and birdlife...

One of the advantages of staying in Moray Speyside is that you can spend less time packing and unpacking and more time exploring.

Our latest blog looks at just a few of the attractions beginning with B, from Balmoral Castle and Culloden Battlefield to beautiful beaches, birdwatching and the Black Isle.

Blervie Top Tip

Many guests arrive with a long list of places they want to visit:

🥃 Distilleries
🏰 Castles
🌊 Beaches
🐬 Wildlife trips

But one of the comments we hear most often is:

"We wish we'd spent more time simply enjoying the house and grounds."

So here's our tip:

Leave a little space in your itinerary.

Sit on the terrace.

Listen to the birds.

Take a stroll around the grounds.

Sometimes the most memorable part of a holiday is the part you didn't plan.

The rhododendrons are looking absolutely spectacular at Blervie House right now.

One of the joys of this time of year is seeing the gardens and surrounding countryside bursting into colour.

Guests often arrive expecting whisky distilleries, castles and beautiful coastline, but many leave talking about the flowers, wildlife and peaceful surroundings.

If you've been considering a Highland escape, now is a wonderful time to visit.
