Cosy self-catering, pet friendly cottages in the Highlands. Open all year round. The holiday cottages are all unique, stand alone and have stunning views.

A number have loch views and all have mountainous vistas. Each of the 10 properties are open throughout the whole year with weekly stays and short breaks offered, pets are also welcome. The estate is home to a diverse range of wildlife from red deer, pine martins, otters, eagles, seals and much more. Guests often have sightings of these species from the comfort of their holiday cottage or when out exploring the estate on the series of purpose built footpaths.

Please be aware that SSE decommissioning works will affect access to Kingairloch from 𝟮𝟵 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝟮𝟰 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮, 𝙈𝙊𝙉𝘿𝘼𝙔 𝙩𝙤 𝙁𝙍𝙄𝘿𝘼𝙔 𝙊𝙉𝙇𝙔 between 𝟴:𝟬𝟬𝙖𝙢 and 𝟱:𝟬𝟬𝙥𝙢.

The works will affect the B8043 between Kilmalieu and Kingairloch. A diversion route is shown on the map below.

If you are travelling from Ardgour via the A861 during these times, please allow extra time for your journey and follow the signed diversion route.

𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙝 𝙀𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙤𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙨 𝙪𝙨𝙪𝙖𝙡 and can be accessed via the A884 and B8043 using the diversion route during these times.

Wildlife at Kingairloch: The Adder 🐍

We have been fortunate enough to spot a couple of adders around the estate recently. As Britain’s only native venomous snake, adders are an important part of our wildlife and often associated with healthy, well connected habitats rich in biodiversity.

They are usually seen basking in sunny clearings, along woodland edges or among bracken and rocky slopes. These are shy animals that prefer to avoid people, so if seen admire from a distance and allow it to continue its day undisturbed.

🐍 Remember: look, don’t touch, and keep dogs under close control in areas where adders may be present.
