Found time to leave Wootton Manor and explore the coast with the kids. Been inching to see the beaches which are recommended in our welcome book! 30minutes and so much choice. We were going to go to Saunton but ended up at Croyde. The kids were in their element with all the rock pools to discovered. Some very wet filled up wellies by the end. 🌊 🦀 🪨 💦

We are so blessed to have so many amazing flowering rose bushes planted by the previous owners (Tom and Maris). I’ve enjoyed adding small bouquets of flowers for visitors celebrating a special occasion. Even the guinea fowl have added to the arrangements.

Still very much learning the ropes at Wootton Manor and embarrassed to say - didn't get the timing of the hot tub quite right but despite that, a lovely bouquet of white roses was left when the couple departed. What a lovely surprise and gesture.

It's now 1 month since we took ownership. We've had so many lovely families and couples stay. I have to give a mention to my former 'boss' and headteacher of first teaching placement as an NQT - Janet Mills. Lovely to see her and welcome her to Wootton Manor. Thankyou for you lovely posts about Wootton Manor and allowing me to repost them - very much appreciated.
