And just like that, the 2026 campsite season comes to a close. And what a season it was!

Over 1000 check-ins completed, 11 new lambs, 2 live music performances, 500(ish) cakes bought from ._, free Pimms, garden games, s'mores and more, endless hours of sunshine, hundreds of campfires, and only 1 named storm!

Thank you to each and every one of you who stayed with us this year, enquired, or engaged with our content. It was an absolute joy.

Now we're heading off for a well-earned break on our very own camping adventure ⛺

The last campers of the 2026 season! Our lovely repeat customers, Neil and Claudia, had the campsite all to themselves last night before the close of our season today. We waved them off for the rest of their camping holiday and look forward to welcoming them back next year ☺️

Slow mornings, warm breakfast pastries and these views 😍

Our last Super Saturday of the season meant an early start this morning setting up our own French patisserie in the shower block with free croissants and pains au chocolat (ignore the terrible spelling of the chalk board 😏) for our campers to enjoy with their morning brew.

We've had so much fun providing you all with a little weekly extra treat throughout the Summer holidays as a thank you for choosing us for your holiday.

There’s sometimes beauty in the absence of something. Stenkrith Park is one of the most popular places to visit whilst at the campsite, just a short drive into Kirkby Stephen. See it in a new way before the rain comes back!

Make sure you see the River Eden at Stenkrith while it is low, amazing.
