Bronfelen Farm & Glamping Bronfelen Farm is situated by the Heart of Wales line - Cynghordy Viaduct. We sell our own meat online and a Yurt for glampers in the summer months.

Colour change for the rams after their first 2 weeks.... bit late posting this as we're now on the third colour as we are now just over four weeks into tupping 🙈
There was plenty of orange bums which is lovely to see.

There's been a lot of infertility about this year with rams, due to bluetongue. But looking at our raddle colours, I have a feeling that our tups are working well 🤞

Oh Bob 😢 Thank you for bringing so much joy to me. He was such a character and there was no reason for him to be the way he was, he wasn't a bottle lamb, he was my 'spirit sheep'. He came at a time when I lost my nan and I found comfort in that 🥰
As much as he was naughty and used to lead the rest of the sheep astray when catching up, he just wanted to chill and have cuddles... and eat apples.
As he was a wether (castrated male) he wasn't suppose to have a place in the flock but I just couldn't let him go. So I gave him a sentimental role - ring bearer at our wedding 🥰 I also named our first Instagram page after him, some of you may have known us as 'bobsflock'. I really tied him into our lives so he couldn't go 🙈

And the tups are in!
It's the start of the farming year and we have sorted through our ewes and decided which ram to put them with. Each tup has about 50 ewes each and we still have one more group to do, we lamb them slightly later as they preferably lamb outside 🤞
So here we have Barry, Charlie and Harvey meeting their girls 🥰

🌟NEW ADDITIONS AND CHANGES... FOR THE BETTER🌟

We now have 3 different types of Bacon, Gammon Steaks and Ham Joints available - All from our outdoor raised Welsh Pigs. You can buy these individually or they have been incorporated into our meatbox options 👌

Now onto our Sausages and introducing 'Bronfelen Bangers!'.
Previously, for our 'standard' Pork Sausage we were using Sausage seasoning packets. Well, we're not anymore! We have concocted our own recipe which doesn't contain sulphites or colourings, meaning... It's a clean Sausage! We also use 84% pork making it a high meat content!

So what more could you possibly want for when we can offer you a choice of Bacon and a clean meaty sausage 😏

I honestly hate this part 😒 I love my girls, we bred most of them and yes I name a lot of them, just to make it harder for myself 😭
On another note, our electronic tag reader has broken so we have to manually read their tags to be able to complete a movement form 🤦🏻‍♀️
