I’ve never been particularly good at letting my children get too far away from me.
Chester, however, has absolutely no such concerns. 😂

One of my favourite things about raising our boys here — and about watching other children come to Red Sky — is seeing just how quickly they realise they have space.
Space to wander.
Space to explore.
Space to get ridiculously far away from their mother without giving her a second thought. 😂

There’s something pretty special about watching children disappear off across a field, completely confident in their little world, while you can still see exactly where they are.

Growing up here is pretty bloody phenomenal really. 🌿❤️

Following our little off-grid campsite in a field. Watching us build things, break things, mow things, make mud kitchens, survive the weather and generally make this whole thing up as we go along. 😂

When we started Red Sky at Night, we genuinely had no idea what it would become — and now there are 4,000 of you here cheering us on. ❤️

Every like. Every comment. Every share. Every booking. Every family who’s come through our gate and fallen a little bit in love with this place…

Well… THAT was a little close. 😳

Last night’s thunderstorm over Red Sky at Night Campsite put on one hell of a show — but this fork of lightning coming down right across the campsite and appearing to hit just outside our farmhouse?! 😳⚡️

Safe to say, the whole peaceful little off-grid campsite in the Welsh countryside vibe took a brief intermission. 😂

Last night, one of our campers pointed their camera towards the skies above Red Sky at Night… and captured these. ✨🌌

Galaxies, nebulae, countless stars and the incredible Milky Way — all photographed right here from camp in Monmouthshire! 🤯

We’ve always known our dark skies were special, but seeing what’s really hiding above us has completely blown our minds. 😍
