That means a whole extra hour in bed and autumn feeling like it has truly arrived.

We are thinking slower evenings, catching up with friends around the fire pit, home cooked nourishing meals and hot chocolate or hot toddy on the beach after a brisk dog walk 🍂

Have you seen the Aurora Borealis on the west coast of Scotland yet?

WildLuing our self catering accommodation is a good spot for it with dark skies and minimal lighting.

Plus there are plenty more opportunities to see the stars align this October:

✨ Autumn evenings are the best time to look up to see Pleiades (beautiful star clusters!)
✨21st-22nd October - a chance to see the Orionid Meteor Shower. The best time to see this will be before dawn.
✨22nd October - Planetary alignment with Venus, Mercury, Saturn and Jupiter all aligning with each other.
