Otter in Torsa Bay - Isle of Luing...
We had been on the Island roughly 5 hours, and this little one appeared. I was watching a Seal, watching me to my right, turned left, and saw an Otter. Fully aware I was there, He/she played for the camera briefly, but dinner was more important.
Torsa Bay is a tidal sea loch on the north-east coast of Luing, where the luxury holiday pods are, at Wildluing. You have the perfect view of this from here. The bay forms part of the sheltered waters protected by the Loch Sunart to the Sound of Jura Marine Protected Area...

The final chapter of our 2026 Content creator trip.

We ended the trip with a few Luing special moments.

🦐 An evening celebration meal using Isle of Luing produce including WildLuing Lamb from our working farm and local Langoustines from .

🪵 Extra sauna and swim time!

🥾 A farm tour with Jack to see how the rest of the farm operates and to meet our Luing breed of cows that you will spot grazing around the island.

We have loved seeing all the great content produced by our guests and have enjoyed sharing the WildLuing story, thank you ♥️

Happy World Oceans Day!

We are celebrating our clear waters up on the west Coast of Scotland. We are so lucky and appreciate them.

Luing is surrounded by a marine protected area that is part of the Firth of Lorn Marine Special Area of Conservation. These waters are consequently home to a wide range of diverse marine life such as dolphins, otters, seals and a range of seabirds.

Content creator trip 2026 ♥️

Another key highlight of the trip was a beautiful, sunny wildlife boat tour with the local Sealife Adventures.

We got to see a wide variety of local British wildlife such as Eagles, Seals and Cormorants. Also it was great to be able to show the beauty of the local area and the Slate islands.

Thank you David and your team for being fantastic hosts and Lisa for being such an informative and fun guide.

Last month we hosted a small, intimate content creator trip with likeminded Scottish creators at WildLuing ❤️

We wanted to share a few photos of each day and to highlight some of our local collaborations.

The first afternoon we hosted a light afternoon tea with homemade scones, tea and coffee in the Observatory. It was also a chance to all meet together and chat with founders Emily and Jack (and of course their daughters little Iris and chatty Saskia 😂❤️).

Then it was time for an evening in their WildSuites to enjoy the site and also the sauna.

After a sauna, plunge pool dip and sea swim it was time for an early night for all with a home cooked meal and fire pits on the terraces while the sun set.
