Looking for a walk with incredible views of Ullswater? 🥾

Arnison Crag is a brilliant choice. With access to the route from just behind the hotel, it’s a fantastic walk starting right here from us. The route climbs up above the village and rewards you with beautiful views over Ullswater, Glenridding and the surrounding fells.

It’s a shorter walk compared to some of the bigger peaks nearby, but don’t let that fool you — the views from the top are absolutely worth it.

Our brand-new pizza menu has launched, and we want to know — which one would you choose?

Served from 12pm–8pm, our pizzas are made with a delicious sourdough base, San Marzano tomato sauce and mozzarella, then cooked fresh in our pizza oven.

Fancy taking yours away? Our Patterdale Pizzas are also available for takeaway!

• The Patterdale Margherita — San Marzano tomato, mozzarella, basil and olive oil
• The Helvellyn Hiker — pepperoni with optional chilli flakes
