😮🤯 goes to show how powerful Mother Nature can be

29/10/2026

Well yesterday saw the first day of Hawes Auction sales 2026

This is a 2 day sale of Swaledale tups

We were selling yesterday, and the crew have gone back over today to hopefully add to the collection of tup that they will lowes at tup time ( very soon) to bring new fresh blood in the the Swaledale breading flock

As the day draws to an end it’s the end of a very extremely busy October

The Ewe sales at the beginning and the Tup sales at the end

It’s also a great month to catch up with folk you don’t see all the time

Now we very quickly turn to gathering the fells to get all our females in and ready to go to our tups

Which lucky girls will meet our new boys …….. the crew will carefully decide…….. and hopefully have some lovely lambs at lambing time 🫣😬😂😂…….. yes I said it ……. Always thinking of the months ahead……..

No wonder I don’t know the day of the wk as I’m always thinking of the future……. Not even out of October and I’m thinking of end of March already 😂😂

Think I need a holiday soon 🤔😉😉💜
