🌤️ The calm after the storms!

We understand what a challenging week it has been for our local residents, businesses and visitors, and we’d like to thank everyone for their patience and support over the last few days.

The Lake District has certainly thrown everything at us, with wild winds, relentless rain and even power cuts!

But the calm has finally returned, the sheep are back out grazing, and we’re delighted to say normal business has resumed here at The Sun Inn, Pooley Bridge! 🐑☀️

Well what a night.
Firstly Nicky Wild - Cumbrian Singer I can’t thank you enough. Over 3 hours of entertaining. You were absolutely brilliant. The atmosphere incredible you brought a room together in dancing, singing and the bad weather was forgotten.

Other than the caterpillar 🎂 Nicola 😜 Hope the head isn’t hurting too much and the feet and the back and the legs 🤣🤣

But Jim and Barbara stole our hearts 81 years young and just loving life !

These are the moments pubs were built for. Bringing people together. Memories made, laughter shared. ☀️
