A huge congratulations to Brooklands Guest House Penrith , which has been named GREATest Under 20 Rooms in Europe at the 2026 GuestRevu GREAT Awards!

Having been shortlisted in the 2024 awards, it's fantastic to see Brooklands return to take home the top prize in their category in this year's GREAT Awards.

With the awards based entirely on guest feedback, this is a wonderful achievement for a small, independent property competing against some of Europe's best properties.

Congratulations to Brooklands Guest House.

🏆 We're delighted to share some wonderful news! 🏆

Brooklands Guest House has been named.

Best Under 20 Rooms in the European Section at the Guest Revu Awards!

What makes this one so special is that it's decided entirely by our guests. Guest Revu collates reviews from all platforms, and we're thrilled to say that Brooklands received **one and a half times as many reviews per room** as our competitors in this category.

That means so many of you took the time to tell us about your stay, and for that we're truly grateful. Every review, whether it was about a cosy room, a warm welcome or a freshly cooked breakfast, helped bring this award home to Penrith.

A huge thank you to everyone who has stayed with us and shared your experience. This one is for you. 💛

If you'd like to see what all the fuss is about, we'd love to welcome you to Brooklands. Book direct with us for the best rates and a warm Cumbrian welcome.

With love and gratitude,
Sue and the Brooklands team

What a summer at Brooklands!

Since winning Four in a Bed back in March, it's been non-stop here at Brooklands Guest House! The show has brought guests to our door from all over the country, and we've loved welcoming every one of you. 🧡

The results speak for themselves: our occupancy is up while small independent B&Bs across the UK have seen a 2.9% decrease. We couldn't be prouder, and we're so grateful to everyone who has stayed with us and supported us.

Now is the perfect time to start thinking about next year's mini break! More and more of us are choosing two or three short breaks in the UK instead of one overseas holiday, and with a warm welcome and a freshly cooked breakfast waiting for you, why not make Brooklands one of them? 🍳

So what are you waiting for? **Book your stay today** and come and see what all the fuss is about! 🏆

Thank you from all of us at
Brooklands

Last night's Star of Business Awards was a wonderful evening, and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for Brooklands. We didn't take home the trophy this time, but being nominated at all means so much to us, and we're genuinely proud of what we've achieved. Every vote came from a guest, friend or local who believes in what we do, and that means the world.

A big congratulations to Roundthorn on your win, and well done for putting on such a brilliant event. Everyone from Brooklands thoroughly enjoyed the night!

Thank you again for your support. We're already looking forward to welcoming you back soon.

Warmest wishes,
Sue and the Brooklands team
