We've all been waiting, hoping, and maybe even praying a little for the sunshine to make a proper return ☀️🌿

After weeks of unpredictable weather, there's nothing better than seeing blue skies, feeling the warmth of the sun, and being able to enjoy the countryside at its very best.

Our shepherd's hut is made for days like these. Slow mornings with a coffee outside, afternoon walks through the countryside, and peaceful evenings watching the sun go down. It's the perfect place to escape the everyday and soak up every minute of summer while it's here.

What better way to end a fantastic day at the Food & Drink Festival at Samlesbury Hall than with a relaxing stay in our shepherd's hut? 🌿✨

After spending the day sampling delicious local food, enjoying refreshing drinks, browsing artisan stalls, and soaking up the wonderful atmosphere, our guests could leave the crowds behind and unwind in the peace of the countryside.

As the sun set, it was time to put their feet up, enjoy the tranquillity of nature, and settle into a cosy evening surrounded by beautiful views. No need to rush home when the perfect relax is just a stone's throw away.

Weekends like this are what shepherd's hut stays are all about – good food, great experiences, and a peaceful place to relax and recharge.

What a wonderful weekend it's been at our shepherd's hut 🌿✨

We've loved welcoming so many guests looking to escape the hustle and bustle, slow down, and enjoy a little slice of countryside life. From peaceful morning coffees overlooking the fields to cosy evenings under the stars, the hut has been filled with relaxation, laughter, and special memories.

There's something truly magical about taking time away from everyday routines, reconnecting with nature, and embracing the simple pleasures that make a stay in the countryside so special. Seeing our guests enjoy the space we've created makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Reading your reviews is genuinely one of our favourite parts of what we do 💛 There is nothing better than hearing that our guests have had such an amazing stay that they want to share their experience with others. Every review means so much to us, and we truly appreciate every kind word that gets left behind after a stay.

We absolutely love welcoming larger groups here, and our shepherd huts are perfectly set up for it 🏕️ We have huts grouped together in twos and threes, making them ideal for family getaways, celebrations, reunions, birthdays, or simply spending quality time together in the countryside. Whether you are planning a small escape or a big group retreat, we love helping create those special memories.

What made this review extra special for us was hearing that every single guest individually enjoyed their stay. Knowing that such a large group all left feeling relaxed, happy, and well looked after is exactly what we aim for and something we genuinely cherish as a business.

What an incredible end to such a busy and fun-filled weekend here at the Hamlet! 🌿✨

Now that we’re slowly creeping towards the May Bank Holiday and May half term, it’s the perfect time to start planning a little countryside escape — especially if you’ve got some little tots to entertain during the school holidays.

Our quirky shepherd huts are the ideal place to switch off, relax, and enjoy a night or two away surrounded by beautiful Lancashire countryside. This half term, the Hall will be hosting its magical Magic Mayhem event, packed full of fun for the children. After checking out of your shepherd hut at 10am, you can wander straight over to the Hall and keep the excitement going for the rest of the day while the kids enjoy all the entertainment and activities on offer. ✨🪄
