Calder House Hotel is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our friendly, family-run team! ❤️

This is a great opportunity for someone who is hardworking, reliable and keen to learn. Whether you have kitchen experience or are completely new to the industry, we’d love to hear from you!

Working alongside our experienced chef, you’ll have the chance to learn valuable kitchen skills and gain hands-on experience in a busy hotel kitchen. 👨‍🍳

🧽 What you'll be doing:

• Washing dishes, pots and pans
• Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
• Helping with basic food preparation
• Assisting the chef and kitchen team
• Helping with deliveries and keeping storage areas tidy
• Making sure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained

⭐ What we're looking for:

• A reliable and hardworking attitude
• Someone who enjoys working as part of a team
• Willingness to learn
• Good attention to cleanliness and detail
• Previous kitchen experience is not essential — we’re more interested in the right attitude!
•Ability to work alone on occasions.
•Brainstorming ideas for menu items.

Calder House Hotel is looking for reliable, hardworking and friendly Housekeepers to join our team.

We’re a family-run business and take great pride in providing our guests with a clean, comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Our housekeeping team is a huge part of that, and we’re looking for people who take pride in doing a great job.

✨ The role includes:
• Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms
• Changing beds and replenishing towels and amenities
• Cleaning bathrooms and communal areas
• Making sure rooms are clean, tidy and presented to a high standard
• Helping to maintain a welcoming environment for our guests

⭐ What we’re looking for:

Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred but not essential, as full training can be provided.

We’re looking for someone who is:
✔️ Reliable and punctual
✔️ Hardworking and takes pride in their work
✔️ Friendly and approachable
✔️ Able to work independently and as part of a team
✔️ Has a good eye for detail
