A little walk through Elsick House grounds recently 🍂

One of the lovely things about getting married at Elsick House is having the freedom to choose how you say “I do” 🤍

Whether you’ve always pictured an outdoor ceremony, surrounded by the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside, or prefer the comfort of being under shelter, there’s an option to suit you and the day you’ve imagined.

And while we can’t promise what the Scottish weather will have planned (it sometimes does like to keep us on our toes!), we can promise that a little change in the forecast doesn’t have to change the magic of your day.

A beautiful setting, your favourite people and a moment you’ll remember forever.

Slow, relaxed autumn has landed at Elsick House and we’re ready to cozy up in an armchair with a candle and a good book.

There’s something so special about those gorgeous autumn weddings.

The soft evening light, the warm colours and the sun setting in the background made such a beautiful setting for these two to celebrate their wedding day.

Elsick House in autumn really does have that way of bringing a little bit of magic, and this was such a lovely reminder of just how beautiful this time of year can be.

One of the things couples love most about getting married at Elsick House is the freedom to make the day completely their own.

With 1,500 acres of gardens, woodland and countryside all exclusively yours, there’s no need to stay in one place.

Take a stroll through the grounds, sneak away for a few quiet moments together, or gather your favourite people wherever feels right.

We’ve definitely started to feel autumn creeping in lately, and it’s got us thinking back to all the lovely autumn weddings we’ve had here.

There’s just something about a relaxed autumn wedding - the evenings drawing in sooner, the softer light and the whole venue glowing with candles, fairy lights and that lovely warm, cosy feeling.

We might not be quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet, but we’re looking forward to seeing more of this again 🍂

A wedding day isn’t just about a few hours at a ceremony. It’s about families gathered together on the sofa, children running through the garden, a couple’s quiet moments beneath the trees, wedding tables thoughtfully styled with personal touches, and all the little details that tell that couple’s story.

It’s the laughter between friends, the canapés that are new to some, the happy tears, the little in-between moments, and everything that happens when everyone you love is in one place.

Those are the moments that make a wedding day so special. 🤍
