What a magical few days up in Samburu in northern Kenya! Kitich Camp is set high in the Matthews Mountains with long walks through the forests and along rivers with Samburu warriors- being the only guest in camp I was thoroughly spoilt 😸

Just across the mountains are Sarara Treehouses and Lodge in the remote Namunyak Conservancy - a community run conservation concept and located close to Reteti Elephant Sanctuary.

And quick as a flick of a lambs tail I find myself in Kenya 🦁 Two whole weeks exploring Laikipia, the Matthew Mountains Range and Samburu. And the first day here has been absolutely brilliant here in Ol Pejeta Conservancy - with lots of baby rhinos, elephant, eland, lion and time in a hide overlooking a waterhole ♥️

We 😻 Namibia! ♥️Just on our way back home via Johannesburg reminiscing about our journey to Namibia - what an extraordinary journey flying and staying at some of the most remote and wild places in the country. The wildlife has been surprising - desert adapted to survive the harsh and arid environments and conditions. Our journey took us to the red dunes of Sossusvlei, up to Damaraland, across to the Skeleton Coast, wild black rhino trekking, and on to Etosha Nation Park 😻
