We’re so pleased to be welcoming the lovely Mabel from Mabel in Bloom back to The Sheep & Penguin for another year of her luxury Christmas wreath making workshops! 🎄✨

Join us on Sunday 6th December for an afternoon or evening of festive creativity, where you’ll get to make your very own beautiful Christmas wreath using Somerset willow, locally sourced spruce and plenty of gorgeous festive trimmings.

And of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without a glass of mulled w**e and a warm mince pie to enjoy while you get creative! 🍷

Spaces are limited, so if you fancy getting into the Christmas spirit and making something lovely for your front door, click the link here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/luxury-christmas-wreath-workshop-tickets-2003654567749?aff=erelpanelorg

A Scotch egg, but not quite as you know it. 😍 Our lamb & haggis Scotch egg is just one of the reasons to join us for lunch this Friday.

Last week brought a brilliant bit of news for The Sheep & Penguin: we’re finalists for B&B and Guest House of the Year at the Bristol, Bath, Somerset & Gloucestershire Tourism Awards 2026/27 🥳 We’re so proud of our team and can’t wait for awards night! 🏆

Our festive menus are here! 🎄

This year, we’re doing things a little differently at The Sheep & Penguin, with smoked food at the heart of our festive offering! From traditional Christmas favourites to something a little different, we’re bringing plenty of festive flavours to the table.

All our smoking is done in-house using oak, hickory, applewood and cherrywood. And don’t worry, we’ve got unsmoked, vegetarian and vegan options too!

Christmas catch-ups, work dos or just an excuse for some good food… we’d love to see you this December! 😍

Launching Friday 27th November.
Our festive lunch set menu will be available Friday & Saturday lunchtimes.
For bookings of 8 or more, a £10pp deposit and pre-orders in advance are required.

Lorraine, we’d LOVE to have you! Consider this your official invitation to come and stay 🐑🐧

I’m OBSESSED with Four In A Bed (Channel 4) on Channel 4 - I loved the look of this wee place on yesterday’s show - especially connection and wee knitted penguin and sheep on the bed. Brekkie looked fab too. The Sheep & Penguin

Our kind of Tuesday night 🍕🍺🎮

The Pizza Rocket is firing up the oven on our driveway from 5:30pm tonight, followed by our first Video Game Night on the big screen from 6pm.

Pick your pizza, grab yourself a pint and see who’s got the best gaming skills. 👾

And before all that… there’s the small matter of Four in a Bed at 5pm on Channel 4 👀 What will tonight’s B&Bers make of The Sheep & Penguin? 😏

We’ve been waiting a LONG time to finally tell you this one! Who’ll be tuning in? 👀
