West Bay, you absolute legends. ❤️

Our BIGGEST attendance to date. Our best fancy dress yet. A room full of wonderful people determined to give Music Bingo at The West Bay Hotel a send-off to remember.

And you certainly delivered! 🪩✨

Great rounds, gloriously loud singing and some wonderfully questionable dancing. You took “You Should Be Dancing” as a personal instruction… and who were we to stop you? 😂💃

There were hands in the air, voices raised, bingo calls to remember… and somewhere along the way, “staple the vicar” became part of Music Bingo history. If you know, you know. 🤣

To everyone who dressed up, rallied a team, sang their heart out, danced with abandon or simply came along and threw themselves into the fun — THANK YOU.

And to everyone who has helped make these nights happen, behind the microphone, behind the bar and behind the scenes — what a team. ❤️

What began with three friends on a sofa became something we could never have imagined. You helped turn a daft idea into a room full of friendship, laughter and unforgettable memories.

But fear not, Music Bingo lovers… there’s more music in us yet! 🎤

🎶 MUSIC BINGO: WHERE DID IT ALL BEGIN? 🎶

It began with three of the very best friends sitting on a sofa one evening enjoying a drink or two....

Its first outing was during an evening of Christmas carols. The pub was standing room only and, somewhere between The Twelve Days of Christmas, Good King Wenceslas and We Three Kings, there were cries of BINGO!, spontaneous dancing and the first glimpse of the glorious chaos to come.

Once Christmas was over, we held our first full Music Bingo night.
It went incredibly well.

Throughout those cold winter Sundays, the numbers grew. We filled the West Bay with disco anthems, rock classics, ’70s bell-bottoms, ’60s girl groups, film songs, television themes, country favourites—and almost anything else we could dream up.

We continued through the summer.
Regular teams formed. New faces joined us. Friends brought friends, tables developed their own traditions and the bingo calls became increasingly ludicrous.
We have laughed at them, applauded them and occasionally been rendered completely speechless by them.

And now, after all those songs, rounds and unforgettable Sunday nights, the final Music Bingo at the West Bay Hotel is here.

To everyone who has played, danced, sung, shouted and supported us: thank you for being part of our story.
