We strive to provide a home from home experience but with a hotel-like feel so when we get feedback like this from our guests we know that things are being done properly and if they aren’t we would love to know where we can improve.

If you’re looking for a short break in Whitby during the summer months Ammonite House has some availability left in June for under £600 for 6 nights ( now booked)with a fantastic welcome pack to start your holiday plus everything to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.
We have 4 night breaks available during July & August from £499 and 7 night stays from £737.
We can accommodate 6 adults and an infant and have a travel cot and high chair - you just need to bring your own cot bedding.
We are a non pet and non smoking property and have been awarded as one of Cottages dot com’s top 20% properties every year since 2022.

Our booking system has been closed for a short while but I’m pleased to confirm that it is now open again, plus we’ve been awarded as on of the top 20% properties with Cottages dot com once again so if you’re looking for a spacious place to call home while you’re on holiday then our lovely 19th century terraced house is ready and waiting for you and can sleep up to 6 people plus an infant

For anyone looking for a mid June getaway to Whitby we have just had a cancellation for a week from 14th -21st June. The house sleeps 6 plus an infant with 2 generous doubles and a twin room and we have a travel cot and high chair in the property.

We still have availability for the Gothic Gathering weekend 23rd-26th April but are booked up for both the May and October Goth weekends and July’s steampunk weekend. We’ve done it again!
A massive thank you to all of our previous guests for your fabulous feedback - we obviously got it right once again and provided our guests with everything they needed to make their stay a perfect one. A massive thank you to our cleaner Jade and her team for ensuring that the house is always spotless.
